Taare Zameen Par ...

Till now, everyone must have watched Taare Zameen Par. Was it not a great experience!!! Actually I am short of words to describe the movie's excellence. I watched it on the very first day although my exams were just 4 days away. I always felt that the movie was not about only Dyselexia but more about child labour. The movie was more about parent's expectations from a child, and the cruel competitive world.
The movie made me cry a lot. But the unusual part of it is, whenever I see the movie again, I feel like crying everytime. As if I am helpless and couldn't help "Ishaan"! As if, I am disgusted by the God's decision! As if, it is my story! As if, it is the story of every child around us! As if many Ishaans are around us,asking for help! As if every child is in the making of Ishaan. And as far as I have got the review of the movie, almost everyone cried while watching the movie. Are we all helpless?
So shouldn't we take a step ahead, and make difference through our deeds. Can't we take a day off and visit a NGO to spend some time with children suffering with problems like mental retardation, autism, dyselexia etc.? Or can't we stop spending our money on McDonald's and KFC's and donate that money to such organizations? Or the simplest thing we can do is, to make sure that no more Ishaan are created. Make sure when we will have our children, we will let them live there childhood.
Think upon it! Do it yourself, in your own way. But atleast we should do something, so that the next time, a movie like Taare Zameen Par releases, we will not cry!!!

I don’t get why u r disgusted with god???? ever got disgusted with the almighty while reading about child abuse??? wife trashing??? The miseries of the world are endless!!!!
Its no doubt a lovely movie.....i hope people would get a bit aware that a kid acting different does not necessarily mean an idiot kid!! I really really wish that people would understand that a kid not procuring high marks would not be perpetually be labeled as useless kid!!!
the movie as well as this blogg is quite thought provoking! :)

You are welcome......one has to understand that each and everyone is different! u just cant treat them as if they are social disease!! The best way is to be consciously aware of special kids and try to behave normally with them….that’s what even they are searching for…normalcy in their life!

i really agree with ur idea that extra effort is needed to adress this kids ....and welcome the idea that we all need to scrafice something to do the real charity....but i have a question...is India or for that matter anycountry doing enough for god gifted extraordinary kids....in fact they are more sensitive....not only that people thinks that this kids gonna perform well because they are naturally good ....and this is where they are wrong.....this mistake render this kids exposed to depression, anxiety, sleeplessness and several other problem which one faces while working in high pressure environment to meeet the expectation of parents and others associated with such kids....i m sorry at state of such condition ...they need someone to express their problem. But when they find no one they feel lost....and its worse thing that can happen to anybody......i dont know why no funskools make this deadly kids deadlier....
